(Masa Israeli)
I Belong. Israel (Masa Israeli) is a national educational initiative dedicated to fostering the social, ethical, and national resilience of Israeli youth, soldiers, and adults.
For over two decades, the program has provided hundreds of thousands of Israeli teens, soldiers, commanding officers, and adults with a deeply transformative, value-based journey throughout the country – aimed at cultivating identity, sense of belonging, and civic and national duty.
WHO are we?
The six-day immersive experience takes participants through Israel’s geographic, historical, and cultural landscapes, with five nights of lodging and full board, accompanied by insightful group discussions exploring Jewish, Zionist, and Israeli identities.
Along the way, the participants engage in empowering and formative activities – including hikes, community volunteer work, and interactive group challenges – all to strengthen their connection to their values, identities, and the Land of Israel.

The organization closely operates with Israel’s Ministry of Education and is proudly supported by philanthropic partners in Israel and across the Jewish Diaspora. This far-reaching impact is made possible thanks to the generosity of donors committed to fostering a strong sense of identity and belonging among Israeli youth.
Our impact has received national recognition and acclaim. I Belong. Israel (Masa Israeli) has been awarded the Speaker of the Knesset Award for Contribution to Israeli Society; the Jerusalem Prize for Educational Excellence, and in 2020, CEO Uri Cohen was honorably invited to light a torch at Israel’s 72nd Independence Day ceremony on behalf of I Belong. Israel (Masa Israeli). The organization also holds official consultant status with the United Nations on matters of education, identity, and belonging.

Training for Masa Israeli guides; instilling principles of respectful, value-based dialogue with educators and school leadership across the Israeli education system.
