I BELONG. ISRAEL for Principals of Diaspora Jewish Schools
Jewish school principals from all over the world are invited to participate in I BELONG. ISRAEL journey. This is a journey of identity that promotes a sense of belonging to the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
In the spring of 2019, we hosted the I BELONG. ISRAEL Journey for school principals from the Diaspora- a six-day experience designed to bring clarity to identity, strengthen a sense of belonging, and provide pedagogical tools that participants can take home and implement in educational settings within Jewish communities around the world.
The goal was clear:
To strengthen personal, Jewish, and Zionist identity, and to deepen the connection to the State of Israel — not through slogans, but through a precise educational experience that weaves together the individual, the group, the community, the Land, the State, and the Jewish People.
What makes this framework unique?
At the heart of the Journey is the personal and values-based world that principals bring to their work. Along the way, each participant is invited to explore what defines them, what drives them as an educator, and how to translate values into educational practice that lasts over time.
